Palestrante: Patricia Acuna-Johnson

Patricia is Professor of Pharmacology at the University of  Valparaiso, Chile. She has served on various higher education positions at the University of Valparaiso, among them as the Faculty of Pharmacy Level, as Dean of School of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Professor and Chairman of Graduate Studies, and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

At the Institutional Level she has been Chairman of Institutional Projects, Academic Vice-Rector, Provost, and Deputy Rector.

Currently at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Patricia is a member of the Permanent Committee for Curricular Innovation and the Committee for External Relations. She sits on the Scientific Ethics Committee at the University of Valparaiso, Chile, and is an academic member of the Chilean Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She represents the Chilean Faculties of Pharmacy as Commissioner of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health on matters related drugs and healthcare. She is Secretary Executive for the Pan American Conference on Pharmaceutical
